The Book Watchers Club
The Book Watchers Club is a podcast where we watch books. By that we mean we dive into the differences between novels and their screen adaptations.

The Book Watchers Club - Rebecca
Last night we dreamt we went to Manderly again. When we woke up we realized that we had to bring you today’s episode!
Rebecca, given the Anthony Award for Best Novel of the Century, is a gothic thriller from 1938. The first film adaptation (1940) won the Oscar but today we discuss the 2020 film on Netflix. While the movie was originally a DNF for Ariel, she wants to give it another chance. Chelsea goes in totally blind expecting this to be a turn of the century romance. Meet us at Manderly in your finest yellow suits and we will give you a discussion for the ages!

Just a heads-up - if any similarities exist between our podcast and others seem a little too close for comfort, we promise it’s purely coincidental! We’re just here to discuss something we are passionate about and share our own unique take on the world of adaptations. Any resemblance to other podcasts is absolutely unintentional, we have taken a vow to remain chaste, and by that I mean, we do not consume any content that has even a *whisper* of being close to what we do. And we hope you will enjoy the ride with us!
